Not Taking It For Granted

This morning Psalm 26 was such an encouragement and huge blessing to me. I pray it will be to you as well.
As I was meditating on this awesome Psalm I kept coming back to verse 3, where it says: "For your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in your truth".  WOW! Are you wowed by this verse or what?!

This verse was encouraging because of the way the Lord has blessed today, already. Once I took His Word (the Bible) in my hands and flipped open His Word, there was his lovingkindness.  I am able to see God's lovingkindness because I can freely read about it in His Word. Many around the world are being persecuted at this very moment because of having the Bible in their hands.

God was more than generous to you and me, by providing us with His Word so that we can know Truth and know Him. Not only is His lovingkindness displayed before us as a banquet table, to feast on and enjoy for His glory, but also when we look out the window, or even when we open our eyes in the morning and see the person next to us who was created in His image, just like you and me. When we see the smile on our child's face, we've seen His lovingkindness. Look around, no matter if you look up, down, right or left, His lovingkindness is before us.
